This blog is working out so well! .....Vail suggested I post some instructions on how to post.
Login to the Blog and in the top right there should be a tab that said "new post."
Let me know if there is not because I want everyone to be able to post not just me obviously. Ok hope all your breaks are going well! Enjoy the rest and take care of yourselves because upperclassmen all know that it is much more fun in the spring but much more commitment. I've been having some trouble motivating to workout but I did yesterday and it felt really good. Naturally I ate three dinners after.... Anyways hope more people post now!! and please tell everyone to at least activate the blog, only like one third of our team has. Anyone have any crazy plans for New Years??

  1. tick! i will be one of the first bloggers! here we go. update on me..so today im beginning my first work out because I was struck with the terrible swine flu the day I got home :( not going to lie it was pretty rough. 102 fever like every morning for seven days in a row...Christmas was quite the experience because I was so sick. But i DID get the ukulele i asked for now.... so now you all can listen to me ROCK OUT on it, stoked. anyway, i overcame the swiner so now im back in action - life is solid. and for new years i was invited to this exclusive Red Bull party vip thing...not a big deal or anything dont worry about it. haha but it seriously will be really tight im really excited, going with some friends its up in long beach. YAYYY then hopefully planning another snowboarding trip since I missed the last one for being sick. love you all hope you had a good christmas! miss ya hope all is well WOHOO GO BEARS

  3. Gina I'm glad you got your ukulele. i'm sorry i have nothing exciting to say in this post but i'm going out of town tomorrow and it took me forever to login to this. i'm sure it was suppose to be easy but i'm technologically challenged. i prefer to speak to real human beings. anyway. workouts were going great until it snowed here. but my sister and i have been doing weights in my neighbor's garage. um i hope everyone has a fabulous new year! sorry i don't have much more to say. love you guys.

  4. Well Hey There Bears!!

My break thus far has been similar to Chapins. Not much happened so I have no crazy stories to share with you all. But, I just got back from a nice little workout, which I dragged my sister along with me to have a little more motivation. Things are pretty good here in the bay, its been a little chilly but overall staying fairly dry. Going down to LA for new years, which should be fun!! I hope that you all had some great food, awesome family time and that Santa brought everybody some good presents!

  5. Hey ya'll!
Hope everyone had a good christmas. Ive been in steamboat, CO most of the break so far and motivating myself to go work out in this altitude has been difficult but ive squeezed a few in. My best christmas present by far has been DJ hero for my xbox (im a teenage boy apparently) so ya'll will definitely have to stop by the house and jam out with us. A good amount of the sophs have all ended up in colorado, so were going to try to spend new years eve together and I can't wait! After the new years im headin home and then off to LA for my other christmas present, which is 2 tickets to support Texas in the national championship...so im stoked for that!! If anyone watches the game look for me on tv cause i may or may not break out the face paint for this one.
Hope everyone has an amazing new years!
    Love and miss ya'll

  7. Hiiiii BEARS!!!
So i just did a road trip across the country and needed to brag about it to someone! My dad and I, along with Cubbie (ma dog) and Gabe (my cat) traveled 2,500 miles in four days. We went through New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri (I got to see B :D!), Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and I am now in Arizona. Although it was long, it was pretty cool to see every state and I got lottsa bonding time with ma pops- we've started to go to tanning salons together, now thats a close relationship! SO thats about all i've been up to... I leave for Colorado in TMRW to chillllexx with Welshy, Tara, Lauren, E, Tori and Dana, and hopefully others so I am uber exxxcited for that.

Miss you all!! Hope you're all having SPECTACULAR breaks (and working out tons to make up for my lack of exercise... :)).

    xoxo VAIL STARRR HORn

ps. Takacs.... one I cant believe you're running in the snow!! YOU GO GIRL!! and theres really nothing you can do about shin splints :( I'm sorry... You can ice them to numb them but other than that you just have to run through them. They're the worse!!!
